This Ghat has been referred by The Calcutta Port Commissioner in 1924 after survey of the Ganges from Kalna to Gangasagar - "No other ghat down Kalna is so broad, so easy of ascent and so beautiful to look. It never turns dry even at the lowest ebb-tide."

Sri Chaitanya and Nityananda Mahaprabhu first came here in 1515 A.D and given the "DANDA" to Raghunath Majumder under a 700 years old banyan tree. This ghat is also called as 'Mahotsavtala'.

Founder- Ghana Shyam Das Nag, this ghat is adjacent to fishermen locality and a Hindu burial ground.

this ghat was named as a person -Chandpal, who and his mother used to serve the sannyasis here.

Founder- Gurucharan Sen of Barabazar (Calcutta), in 1296 B.S. along with Sri Chaitanya temple.
GHAT of MADAN BOSE
Founder- Madan Bose. In 1270 B.S. a ship ran Aground at this place and a part of this ghat was broken.
