Historic sketch of the locality - events / eminent personalities associated with the place
A part of the ward was included in the Jamindari of the famous "Lokamata Rani Rashmani" of Zanbazar, Calcutta. Which is popularly known as Rani Rashmani Nagar. After the partition of India, a huge population came to India from East Pakistan and after wards from Bangladesh as refugee and they are forced to make their dwelling houses in the adjacent area of South Eastern Railway, now it is called as Satadal Pally (I & II).
